Hotel Capilla Del Mar Cartagena, Cartagena

My stay at Hotel Capilla Del Mar was a mixed experience. While the room I had to upgrade to was spacious and well-equipped with two TVs, three sitting areas, and a bar area, it needed a lot of maintenance with issues like the air conditioning leaking water and a rusty enlarged mirror. The smaller beds in the standard rooms were not ideal for my height, forcing the upgrade to a king suite. However, the staff went above and beyond when they helped me retrieve my lost phone, despite some language barriers and the cost of the service. The location was convenient, being close to many restaurants and stores, although the absence of a white sand beach was a drawback. The dining experience offered average continental options, with the highlight being the delicious and fresh varieties at the omlette station. Although the facilities were decent, improvements in maintenance are necessary.
